Colorful Confidence — How God Used Color & Fashion to Heal Me

Colorful confidence isn’t just a cute saying, it’s a mindset and a way of life.
Style has been integrated in my core since the day I was born, and it sparks joy in ways that I can’t describe. Color makes me come alive, and neither of those are frivolous, they are strategy.
Growing up friday nights were spent at the mall. At the age of 2 I would’ve rather been shoe shopping than for toys any day. Stride Rite was my happy place (shoutout to other millenials)! When I first discovered makeup it was an instant love affair. I treasured my first Clinique lip pot as gold and the Mac counter was my candy store.

Style is part of who I am, I’ve always been the go-to for fashion, knowing where to shop and of course I was the one doing hair and makeup for every dance, even my own bridesmaids.
A few years ago, I found myself in a season of deep unrest. Divorce. Toxic career shifts. Grief. Loss. Going backwards from achievements and milestones I had reached. The unexpected passing of my dad. I felt like I’d lost my sparkle.
I remember standing in front of my rainbow closet, the one place that usually lit me up, and sobbing, because I didn’t even recognize the life around me. Through more prayers than I can count, enough tears to fill an ocean and a lot of work, I realized that what fell apart allowed God to do a transformation and unleash my new identity.
I fully believe in Lilly Pulitzer’s saying that “life is a party, so dress like it” and my life motto, as well as the core of my coaching embodies her saying “be the sunshine”, celebrating individuality, radiant confidence and what it actually means to live boldly.
God used two of my biggest passions to help me reclaim my true identity when my world went gray. Fashion and faith reminded me that my sparkle was never gone, it was just buried under survival.
Now, I use that same blend of color, confidence, and calling to help women remember who they are, too. 💋To show you how to be the brightest version of who God created you to be. Showing up boldly is one of the most powerful forms of faith there is. 🌈
I’m so grateful to have you along in my colorful corner, my daily prayer is that my light ignite yours and remind you that joyful, bold vibrant living is waiting for you to go all in.
If you’re ready to bring color back into your life, then welcome home, sunshine!
