It's funny how they say that once you speak something into the universe it starts to show up all around you. You know how when you mention someone's name you haven't thought about in ages, and then all of a sudden they show up on your social media or they call out of the blue?
Last night was one of those just smiling God wink moments. If you read my last post, you saw that one of my words for 2024 is Passion. I mean this in a variety of ways, but it stemmed because I am incredibly multi-passionate! I have a love-hate relationship with this part of myself. I'm thankful God designed me super unique, but sometimes I want to ask him to fly an airplane over my head with a flashing neon sign of which way to turn! Ever feel this way?!
Well last night I had one of my life coaching sessions with Alexandra, from Grace Space Christian Coaching and we talked a lot about my dreams for this year. She knows about all of my passions and characteristics, that I so desperately want to turn into a God honoring path somehow. As soon as I got off the call with her, I opened one of my devotion books and this was the message for the night.
I mean, this was clearly not a coincidence! I have prayed for dreams that are bigger than me, and that is terrifying, but I also know that God can do it.
So while we are on this topic, let's chat a little about my work with Alexandra! When I tell you that she has been a lifeline and integral part of my life for nearly three years now, that is no exaggeration. I have never been a person to do well with counseling. I am honestly too self-reflective and I serve in a counseling role with many of my close friends. Coaching, however, is about moving forward and hers specifically is Christian focused. I made the decision to work with her during a time when I was smack in the middle of several huge monumental life changes. I cried and prayed for help, and I saw Amy Littleson talk about her own experience once day. I can truthfully tell you that this process has hands down been the best investment I could ever make in myself. Alexandra is so down to earth, we share a lot of the same characteristics and preferences in life, she lives in Charlotte and knows the Carolinas, and most of all her faith shines through all that she does. She has helped me seamlessly change jobs in a few different ways, move on my own, launch my small business, map out dreams with realistic goals and objectives, and to stay firmly rooted in my own faith.
I look so forward to my monthly sessions with her (she has so many options of visit frequency) and I constantly think of things I want to tell her! I was able to get one of my closest friends working with her as well, and now it's rare that a day goes by when one of us doesn't mention Alexandra!
If you are a Christian woman who is feeling a little lost, wants a boost, needs direction, or really just want to make an investment in your life - I would challenge you to reach out to Alexandra! She offers free clarity calls and has mini coaching excerpts on her website that you can watch. I promise you won't regret it!
